Loaded Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Cookies

These cookies are way over the top!  A soft chocolate peanut butter cookie, loaded with Reeses Pieces, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, peanut butter chips, and chocolate chips. Yum!   I brought these to a BBQ and they were devoured by kids and adults alike.  If you like peanut butter and chocolate you must try these!  Betcha can't eat just one.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Do you ever just need a quick and easy dinner? This recipe will do the trick! The ingredients for this dish I always have on hand, so it took me about 15 minutes to prepare and serve this dish. I made a big salad, cut up some watermelon and made some garlic toast, easy and delicious!

Chocolate Chunk Muffins

Do you ever try out a new recipe you found online then forget where you got the recipe from? I made that mistake   with these muffins. Now if these muffins had been just okay I would have let it go without a passing thought. However, they were not just good, they were great! Definitely something I want to make again. So, because I love them so much, and because I wanted to share them with you, I just spent the better part of half an hour trying to locate this recipe. Was it wasted time? I don't think so. These babies are worth it. Try them out and you'll see why !

Penne with Roasted Asparagus and Balsamic Butter

I am a huge fan of asparagus!  I'm not sure if there as any McCain sibling that is not, we all enjoy them.  Growing up in California this veggie was a stable in our house.  Our favorite way to eat them is steamed, then dipped in mayo.   But I am always up for news ways to enjoy this veggie,

Lindt Truffle Chocolate Cupcakes

These cupcakes are beyond delicious!   Divine is how my sister Becky described them.  I served these at her Bridal Shower on Saturday and everybody loved them!  I honestly think they are the best cupcakes I have ever eaten .  I'm not the only one who had that opinion either :) These are a chocolate lovers dream.  Here's the rundown.  A Lindt Lindor truffle is baked in the center of a rich and very moist devils food cupcake.

Herbed Cheese Bread

Whenever I serve pasta, I try to serve some type of bread and salad to go with it.  A couple of weeks ago I needed a new recipe that was quick and easy as well and tasty.  After searching some of my favorite cookbooks, I came across this Herbed Cheese Bread.

Navajo Fry Bread

This has to be one of my favorite dishes. It's much like a tostada, but with a thicker more bread like shell. I was introduced to this dish by a friend in Longmont that was part Navajo. She would have a big party with each of us bringing different toppings to share and she would make the Fry Bread.

Giant S'mores Cookies

The Maddie and Tyler had a school carnival and I volunteered to bake a goody for the cake walk.  I wanted something fun and different, something that kids would really enjoy.  My kids really love s'mores so I decided to make a s'more cookie.  I came across this super easy and fun cookie recipe

Not Yo Mama's Banana Pudding (Re-post with a picture )

Does this dessert sound familiar to you?  I originally posted it last Summer, but didn't have a picture at the time.  I'm excited to be able to post this picture now so you can see how yummy it looks!  I first had this pudding at a BBQ last Summer.  One bite and I was hooked.  This fabulous pudding sits on top of a layer of bananas and is sandwiched between two delicious cookies. Does it get any better than that?  Banana pudding didn't used to be something I craved, but it definitely is now.  It is Heavenly!  Also, it's very easy to make.  So try it out sometime.  I bet you'll become a banana pudding fan too.

Sour Cream Noodle Bake

I came across this great dish last week when I was in the mood for something easy and different!  It is much like a lasagna, but a lot easier and much faster.  Tyler liked it so much he asked to take it in his lunch the next day.  This has become my new favorite dish for the week.

Samoa Girl Scout Cookies

I have a confession.  I love to cook all types of food, but I have a special place in my heart for sweets.  I would rather make a sweet treat than any other type of food.  So when I saw these chocolate, caramel, toasted coconut goodies I knew I could not resist making them.   They were awesome!  Even my non-coconut loving husband Aaron thought they were pretty good.  I have it on more than one opinion that these are even better than the girl scout variety!  I guess it's true...homemade is better than store bought.  While there are a few steps involved in making these, they really aren't hard at all and for a sweet making lover like me, I found it quite enjoyable :)
