Easy Peach Cobbler

I am such a sucker for a good peach cobbler.  As peach season starts I am always on a hunt for a good recipe.  I have collected a few good ones, but none of them are amazing.  Well, my search is over with the find of this recipe!   I had about 6 fresh peaches that needed to be used, so what better way than a cobbler. The peaches were ripe and juicy.  The crust was crunchy and sweet and then topped with vanilla ice cream, the dessert was out of this world!

Fresh Peach Muffins

Oh how I love peach season! Not only do we love to  just eat fresh juicy peaches, but oh the yummy things  you can make with them.  With school back in session, some of our favorite traditions will return .  One of my favorite traditions is,  Muffin Monday.  Each week the kids take turns picking their favorite muffin.  With only three kids, that leaves me one week that I can try new recipes that I have found over the month.   I have tried to find  a good peach muffin recipe, but failed every time. But,  persistence pays off, because this recipe is a gem.  The muffin is moist with just the right amount of peaches  and the crumble topping makes the muffin over the top. Give these a try, you won't be disappointed!  Look for more peach recipes as the season has just begun!

Peach Praline Muffins

I was looking for a way to use up some peaches and I came across these muffins.  Wow.  They were so delicious.  I had never had peaches in muffins before, and my first experience was quite a pleasant one.  If you have peaches to use up, give these a try.  I think you'll like them!

Peach Salsa

I have been waiting all year long for peaches to come into season so I could make this salsa!  We love it.  When you first take a bite you taste the sweet peaches, but it is quickly followed up by the spiciness of the peppers.  As a side note, we picked these peaches off my parent's trees, which makes them that much sweeter.  Try eating this salsa with Hint of Lime Tostitos! So good! I've written this with canning instructions since that's what I usually do, but it's not necessary.

Grandma's Peach French Toast

With summer here, many of you have family coming into town and are looking for recipes to impress those special guests!  The kids and I came across this yummy french toast recipe and gave it a try!  This is much like a peach cobbler, but not as sweet.  To make this an even easier breakfast I used the canned peaches in their own juices, didn't have any ripe ones to use!  You make this dish the night before and just pop it in the oven the next morning.  No mess, no fuss, just an easy and delicious breakfast.  Instead of sweet syrup, I whipped up some fresh whipped cream, not to sweet, to top off this breakfast dish.  Enjoy!
