Pumpkin Pie Dip

Sorry for the lack of recipes!  With school back in session, plus soccer and all the other activities, I have not tried many new recipes.  But with Fall in full swing, I am in the mood for pumpkin and apples!  I have found so many yummy recipes to try, so get ready!

Chocolate Chunk Muffins

Now with school back in swing, muffin Wednesdays are back!   The recipe calls for chocolate chunks, but I made mini muffins so I used the mini chocolate chips.  The kids thought these were great, and I would have to agree!

Sun Dried Tomato and Bacon Chicken

My sister in law Summer was the one to find this great recipe.  Simple, quick and flavorful, my kind of meal.  Like my brother Eric, Mike really liked this as well.  Summer did suggest marinating the chicken in the dressing for a while before cooking it, I would agree.

Carrot Cake Cookies

One of my favorite cakes happens to be carrot cake.  These cookies are just bite size treats of an old favorite.  The recipe has you making these into sandwiches, but I liked then with just one cookie, frosted.  Like carrot cake, these cookies are better the second day, but great warm out of the oven as well.

Pear Bread

Something about cool fall weather puts me in a baking mood. I just love mixing up something delicious to stick in the oven, savoring the fragrant aroma, then reaping the benefits of my labors. If I can do it with a glass of cold milk and a good book, even better :) But enough of that, try this bread, you will love it. Pears chunks, chopped pecans, cinnamon, and nutmeg, ..need I say more? Ok, I'll say a little more. I especially love the crispy crust!

Baked Ziti

Living a greater part of my life it Connecticut, this recipe was a favorite of many of the friends.  It seems like a staple to most people back there.  Over the years I have created my own version of this simple dish so I thought I would share it with you.
