Looking for a fun treat to help cool off this hot summer? From the picture you can see this is nothing fancy, but they are really good. All the kids
were able to help out and had a great time
doing it. We made this in the afternoon and
had them for our after dinner treat. I had Maddie
slice the bananas, Tyler and Jeremy added the smudge of peanut butter and I dipped them in the melted chocolate chips. Super easy and a lot of fun to do with the kids! These lasted over a week in
the freeze so it was nice to have a quick treat whenever we felt like it!

Mix chocolate and cream in a small glass bowl. Microwave until melted and smooth, stirring about every 30 seconds.
Line baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Arrange banana slices on paper. Drop about 1 tsp peanut butter over the top of the banana. Using a folk and knife, dip 1 banana slice in chocolate, coating completely. Shake off excess chocolate, transfer to foil-lined sheet. Repeat with remaining bananas, peanut butter and chocolate. An added twist would be to coat the chocolate covered bananas with different toppings, such as coconut, chopped nuts or whatever you feel inspired to use. I thought a little drizzle of caramel would have been divine! Just have fun with it! Freeze until firm, about 3 hours, then serve.
