I try to balance out my treat intake by eating healthy snacks during the day, but finding healthy and yummy snacks that I don't get bored with is a challenge. I had this recipe on the back burner for a while but didn't get around to trying it for a few weeks after I bought the yogurt. I didn't have too high of expectations for it so I was taken by surprise by how much I liked this! Brynlee loved this as well so I am sure we'll be making this quite a bit. It's so yummy and packed with protein so it will keep you fueled for a while. If you don't like peanut butter or have allergies, just omit it and you'll still have a delicious vanilla yogurt fruit dip.
Creamy Peanut Butter Dip
from POPSUGARFitness
*Makes four 2 TBSP servings
Ingredients:
1 5.3 oz container of Oikos Non-Fat Greek Vanilla Yogurt
2 TBSP Peanut Butter
1/2 TBSP Honey
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Mix ingredients together. Serve with apples, bananas, or pears. Place any leftover in the fridge in an airtight container.
P.S. The yogurt is awesome as a healthy snack by itself too! If you haven't tried out Greek yogurt yet you need to! Even my 4 year old prefers it over regular yogurt and it is a lot healthier for you. My favorite brands are Oikos and Chobani.
