Looking for a fun easter treat to make with the kids? These are so cute and come together in a jiffy. With only 3 ingredients, ok 4 if you count the eggs, these couldn't be easier. Oh, and delicious, of course.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Birds Nest Cookies
modified from Skip to my Lou
Ingredients:
1/4 pkg milk chocolate chips
1/2 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 pkg Chow Mein Noodles
Cadbury Mini Eggs
Directions:
In a large microwave safe bowl combine chocolate chips (I like Ghiradelli) and peanut butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave for another 30 seconds and stir till smooth. Add Chow Mein Noodles and stir to coat. Drop by spoonfuls onto parchment or waxed paper and make an indentation for the eggs. Use the spoon to reshape the nest if necessary. Place 2 or 3 mini eggs in the nest. Place in fridge for an hour or let sit out for several hours to harden. Enjoy!
